Qualitative Dissertations

Qualitative Dissertations come to play when the potential answer is not a straightforward yes or no. In today’s era when there are as much factors on the foreground, as much there are on the background, qualitative dissertations become a necessity. One clearly needs to go that extra mile or a little deeper in order to discover things out of the realist paradigm. Be it be any stream of knowledge, qualitative approach makes it easier to study the problem as a ‘case’. An explanation is sought based on an in-depth assessment of the subjective realities within an objective frame of questioning. Findings are made not based on variables but a detailed questioning based on how and why?
When we say ‘Qualitative Dissertations’, we mean to conduct a research that throws open your wisdom to undisclosed or hidden theories, assumptions or routes. It can be anything such as phenomenological research, narrative research, grounded theory, ethnography, case-study or autoethnographies.
As a research strategy, qualitative dissertations can take any form – Phenomenological Research, Narrative Research, Grounded Theory, Ethnography and Case Study.
